ARP has recently released an upgraded head stud kit for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ. All Pro Series ARP2000 studs are centerless ground, heat treated prior to thread rolling and machining, and are rated at 230,000 PSI. These fasteners deliver a 25% increase in tensile strength over the OEM Torque to Yield (TTY) head bolts. Optimum design, enhanced reliability and increased strength are the main attributes of ARP Pro Series fastener kits.  Manufactured from "Austenitic stainless steel" material.

 ARP employs a special age-hardening process prior to thread rolling and machining that greatly improves fatique life and delivers 230,000 psi tensile strength. 

Best of all, the Austenitic stainless material is immune to rust, corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement when submersed in a water jacket or coolant based environment.
