202-4309 ARP Pro Series Head Studs for the Nissan RB20, RB25 and RB25 NEO engine.

These RB25 ARP head studs are what virtually every top professional engine builders relies on in the market today. These head stud kits (head bolts) boost superior to aircraft quality. The studs that are threaded and rolled to achieve a close to perfectly concentric rolled after heat treat. When replacing a head gasket, upgrading the internals of your engine or even refreshing the motor from 25+ year old bolts these are the standard to go with. Most all engines builds will find upgrading to these studs to handle the increased performance demands they're looking for.

ARP2000 is an alloy steel that can be safely heat treated to a higher level, producing a greater strength material than the premium grade 8740 alloy. While 8740 and ARP2000 share similar characteristics – unlike the 8740 being heat treated to 200,000 psi, the ARP2000 is precisely heat treated and capable of achieving a clamp load at 220,000 psi. ARP2000 is used widely in short track and drag racing as an up-grade from 8740 chrome moly in both steel and aluminum rods. Stress corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement are typically not a problem, providing care is taken during installation.
